My First Sketch Challenge...

The virtual convention blog for Close To My Heart has posted a challenge and so I thought I would try it out. Here is a picture of my results.

Chore Charts...

This is the individual chore chart, they each have a tag with a magnet on the back. They can remove them, because I put a slit in the protector. I can't wait to find a chore chart stamp set, I would love to have a stamp of bed, clothes and such.
The flower pots and old chart my mom had growing up. Each of the kids are flower pots and we rotate their flowers every week. The flowers also have magnets on them.

These are some pages I did last year! They are all quickies and I thought they turned out well. Now I am slowing down and making the best I possibly can for my children.

Simple and Easy Cards using june Stamp of the Month

These were easy and fun. I used Close To My Heart's June Stamp of the Month With Love. The first is a bookmark I cut out the flower and the pot. Then I put a brad through the flower. I then put the ricrac onto the bookmark and then added the pot and the flower on top. Colors I used were sweet leaf and hollyhock. The card was basically the same, only colors were watermelon and hydrangea. I slipped a swirly clip under the brad. It makes it bling a little more.

Joining the Scrapbooking Blog World

A little history for starters...I started scrapbooking in 1998 by shopping at local stores. Now after 10 years, I believe that this hobby has grow into a wonderful addiction!! I know that I am leaving a legacy behind for my children. I love it!!
I started with 8.5x11 and now I am all about 12x12!! My daughter loves to create with me and she is turning 7 this year!


I made this album for my mom last year for Mother's Day. I am from a family of ten kids and we went in on the gift for her. The joy of making it was knowing that someday,far into the future, I will get it back! I am trying to add to it every year. Some of the siblings pages are missing, because I had to add pictures to them.
